This is Lyric Ya Ni. Or, as Mike calls her, "The Lyric Ya Ni." She is truly a joy. She loves to laugh and make us laugh. She had a heart condition (VSD) that was corrected by surgery in China. When we got her home and had a heart specialist here examine her, he told us she was fine and could "be as active as we could stand." She is every bit that active, and then some.

My guess is Lyric had just done something she wasn't supposed to and was trying to get out of trouble by making us laugh (which too often works for her).

One year later, Lyric returns to Nanjing. We were told Lyric's nanny didn't sleep for three days anticipating Lyric's visit.
